Stephen Schwartz's Captain Louie

"Captain Louie," an adaptation of a kids' book titled "The Trip," was sophisticated, high-energy, smooth as silk and warm as hot cocoa on a chilly fall evening. Chelsea Jo Pattison was luminescent as Louie, a little boy who uses his imagination to fly back to his old neighborhood, and the rest of the cast, all with Off-Off Broadway or regional theater experience, raised themselves to her level. - Becca Martin, Entertainment Editor, Down Dickinson

Innocent Diversions

The talented cast is charming and chipper and well directed by Macy. Notably, there is the robust Chelsea Jo Pattison, as the child Fanny Austen, whose performance conveys a sense of fun and a high-spirited pluck. -Lisa Ferber, nytheatre.com

Eterovich is matched by an equally talented ensemble, including... and Chelsea Jo Pattison, as Fanny, the youngest Austen in attendance. Pattison was a marvel in each of her "scenes," demonstrating wonderful poise, elocution, and full of pep. Her bio lists Diversions as Ms. Pattison's Ten Ten debut, having recently hailed from the mid-West. Let's hope she stays here for a very long time. -Doug Strassler, offoffonline

The Importance of Being Earnest

Chelsea Jo Pattison is Cecily, delighting in every moment of girlish discovery, thrilled with the drama of everyday life, and the acquisition of her own personal views. She makes an excellent foil to Ms. Smith, putting the charm of the parochial against the slyness of the cosmopolite. As their scene together was just about to begin, I confess that I told myself, excitedly, and now, the greatest two-girl comedy scene ever written! Ms. Smith and Ms. Pattison nevertheless maintain their composure (up till that horrible breaking point involving the mysterious Earnest) and play through with a minimum of forced gentility and a nicely disguised loathing for one another. It's all done with a smooth pace and regular humanity, though I can't quite recall whether pinkies are raised to their full height over tea, or not. -Richard T. Green, Talkin' Broadway

Snoopy!!!

Peppermint Patty is portrayed by Chelsea Jo Pattison with trademark tomboy bravado. - Sheila Schultz, kdhx

Barefoot in the Park

Running away with the show are John Watts and Chelsea Jo Pattison, who play the newlyweds Paul and Corie. Pattison has already shown her fine acting abilities this season with stellar performances in "Peter Pan" and "Charlie Brown." "Barefoot" is no exception, as she fills the role of Corie with an energy that can be felt in the audience. - Chris Post, Senior Staff Writer, The Marshall Democrat - News

Peter Pan

Chelsea Jo Pattison embodies the boy who refuses to grow old. Her experience with the part, which she played previously at the Louisville Iroquois Amphitheater, provides a solid anchor for the rest of the cast. In making her debut at the Lyceum, Pattison showed the audience a powerful vocal presence that will be a welcome addition this season. -Chris Post, Senior Staff Writer, The Marshall Democrat - News
