Hailing from the small town of Floyds Knobs, Indiana, some say Chelsea is a long way from home. But she always knew that her dreams would carry her far. As a child, Chelsea was a screamer. Everyone always said she had chords of steel; little did they know that she was only practicing. At her first audition, she belted her song and the director exclaimed, "That's a little girl with a very big voice!" Chelsea knew she had found her calling... and she never looked back.
Chelsea currently resides in NYC and is actively pursuing her acting career. Since moving, she has met one of her favorite composers, Stephen Schwartz, and was cast in the first national tour of his family musical "Captain Louie." Chelsea has worked on several projects in the city including multiple readings of a new musical, "Silas," by the talented Bruce Coughlin and Michael Korie. She is excited to continue on this path of meeting wonderful people and doing what she loves.
"You're put here to do certain things, and you can't waste your time not doing it. You have to greet each day with enormous gratitude and hope and happiness. ~William Finn
